Domaines Skiables de France (DSF) represents French ropeway and ski slope operators, as well as manufacturers and suppliers across the sector. Its members include more than 400 companies, covering both mountain resorts and a growing number of urban and tourism-related operators.
France is Europe’s largest ski market, with around 250 alpine resorts. The sector generates approximately €1.5 billion annually from lift passes, totaling around 55 million skier days. It supports about 18,000 direct jobs and 120,000 indirect jobs across tourism services.
DSF works to represent and develop the industry, supporting innovation, safety, and the long-term competitiveness of French mountain tourism.
